size words

While perusing a dictionary at work, I discovered the word MAJUSCULE. It refers to large or capital letters. It's opposite is MINISCULE -- think MAJOR/MINOR.

Speaking of SIZE, here is a word that looks like
a verb, but only exists as a noun:

ASSIZE--A judicial inquest or an action to be decided by
    such an inquest...

(Please, no bad puns about the extensiveness of one's
    gluteus maximus.)

Speaking of glutei, ASSIZE reminded me of ARREARS -- money paid after it is due.

Can an assize enforce the payment of arrears? I bet it can!

my favorite size-word is PRODIGIOUS ... usually used in conjunction with the word "manhood" in tacky romance novels ...

Funny, mine is COPIUS, usually used (or at least used by myself) in conjunction with "cleavage"...

For this purpose we also have the word BATHYCOLPIAN, or "having deep cleavage"...

You can always count on me for cleavage words.

Another one I've started using is SPATHIC, which originally meant "having good cleavage" and referred to minerals. But my mission is to spread its use into other, shall we say, spheres...

Is it just me, or do logophiles tend to be rather
libidinous? Really. Pick up any book on etymology
or fascinating words. The author always has a few
            sex-related comments.

Perhaps these areas of the brain are juxtaposed?

There's a certain eroticism in sophisticated verbiage.

I've had men tell me it kind of turns them on when I use words they can't define. Poor souls... it's like speeling in front of the dog.

I would like spathic --- except it sounds too much like spaztic --- which is too descriptive of me already --- so you can understand my hesitance to embrace it whole-heartedly .....
